About:
Due to the specific L-shaped interior and a glazed orangery, this project follows its function. Starting from the kitchen, through the dining room to the living room and terrace. The entire space is maintained in warm browns of wood with golden accents and lighting.
The main design task was the kitchen, equipped with a high bar for four people and a peninsula that encloses the kitchen, allowing for 360-degree movement. The tall units feature a traditional oven, steam oven, microwave, double-door fridge, and a cabinet with a kitchen lift leading directly to the garage below for convenient grocery transportation. Special doors allow groceries to be brought into the kitchen or, on the other side of the lift, directly into the pantry. Additionally, part of the storage with a wine fridge is modeled after antique sideboards, and all cabinets have sliding shelves for easy access to stored items. All installations such as electricity, pipes, and range hood are concealed behind vertical panels in the cabinets or decorative molding.
Furthermore, the open roof truss is inspired by historical solutions from local landmarks in the same town, giving it a unique character.
