About:

The estate project is my interpretation of the current trend of ‘Modern Barns’. I have created a house strongly inspired by the agricultural farms in the region where the property is located. The house resembles traditional old architecture, perfectly fitting into the landscape and preserving the character and soul of the region. This is a project that could only have been created in this specific locality; otherwise, it would not blend with the surroundings or local culture.

Due to the 21st century advancements, the house is designed according to ergonomic principles, providing comfort and ecological benefits. A ‘between-house’ winter garden acts as passive heating, utilizing solar heat - mechanical air circulation distributes warmed air throughout the entire house. The house itself complies with EU regulations and directives - it is passive. The entire roof is covered with photovoltaic roof tiles generating electricity. In the garden, there is also a compost generator producing gas, which can be used, for example, in the kitchen.

Two houses are situated on a large platform, where underground facilities include a garage, office, entertainment room, and even a swimming pool and sauna.
