About:
Designed especially for the 'Konkurs architektury ceglanej' [eng.: Brick Architecture Competition], category: construction of the future.
The design was inspired by the sand Efa, a poisonous snake from the viper family, inhabiting mainly desert areas. The architecture of the facility refers to natural behavior a snake (camouflage) that instinctively buries itself in the sand.
Design of the entrance to the EFA Archaeological Museum (Egyptian Foundation of Archeology) aims to create extraordinary experience for visitors and emphasis the importance of the history and culture of the desert region.
Entrance to the main exhibition space of the museum leads through a corridor going underground - creates the impression of being immersed in the snake's body. Input route in the form an inclusive ramp invites you to come down and explore the lost worlds of ancient Egyptian history and archeology.
